Six Petals
Method

The language and methodology of this knowledge are clear and efficient, and they integrate a solid theoretical foundation with a meaningful personal experience through the mandalas.

CEIMAS® makes use of the exclusive Método das Seis Pétalas® (Six Petals Method), created by the Art Therapist Myrian Romero, which establishes a strict alignment of bodily, expressive and theoretical perspectives, increasing the comprehension of the mandala and enhancing the learning of this knowledge.

Art

It is a way of spontaneous and natural expression. It has belonged to the Human Being since ancient times. Bodily and artistic propositions, with a different set of materials, stimulate the creative potential, motivating each individual’s free and genuine expression. There are no aesthetic or academic concerns. It is a space to experiment with and to create new possibilities. It builds a path of expressive autonomy.

Transpersonal Psychology

(integrative approach)

An approach that considers both the challenging and healthy aspects of humans. It affirms that we need to leave our day-to-day conditioning for the full blossoming of our capacity to take place. This does not happen without stimuli. It values the expansion of consciousness as a desirable aspect within a path of self-knowledge and true self-realization.

Meditation

it is a quality of presence. It allows for becoming aligned with one’s own breathing. It is to not do anything. It is to not want anything. It is to keep oneself conscious in the here and now. Right here there is no need to understand anything rationally. It is to be able to relax, to be in silence and to contemplate.

Individual

It is to take care of oneself. Starting from the inner images that arise spontaneously, it is to learn to recognize and to name one’s own emotions, resistance, feelings, ideas, and dreams. It is to be able to find balance between the inner world’s aspects and the daily life. It means to recognize challenges and talents, and to integrate them in one’s daily life in a healthy way. It is self-knowledge.

Relationships

It is to take care of relationships. It is to have the ability to understand and interact harmoniously with others. It is the therapeutic action focused on meetings, between one person and another person, and the healing possibility that emerges from this “between.”

Social

It is to take care of the world. The capacity to perceive, to relate and to contribute to one’s broader surroundings more consciously, be it a group of people, an organization or the environment.
  • Upward direction

Made of the three petals that are within the triangle that has its apex pointing upwards. They form the theoretical and practical body of this knowledge: art, transpersonal psychology and meditation.
  • Center

All of us feel called to go towards this single direction. Towards fulfillment, as a source of everything that breathes, from which existence arises. The Great Silence.
  • Downward direction

Made of the three petals that are within the triangle that has its apex pointing downwards. They represent the three different domains where the theoretical and practical aspects take place.
